What we collect

When you use the free Instant Assessment (the scan):

We generate the estimate by sending the domain you enter to our AI provider (Google Gemini). We do not crawl, scrape, or fetch your website, its pages, or its DNS records.

The in-app CIO Lens dashboard stores the data you enter locally in your browser and does not send it to our servers, except content you submit to the in-app AI features.

How we use it

Provide the service — generate estimates and deliver your report.
Communicate with you — send the report you requested and, where permitted, relevant follow-up.
Protect the service — rate limiting and abuse prevention.
Improve the service — aggregate product analytics.

Service providers

We share data only as needed to run the service. Providers marked “when enabled” receive data only if that integration is configured:

Google (Gemini API) — generates the estimate from the domain you enter.
Vercel — application hosting.
Upstash — caching, rate-limit counters, and lead storage.
PostHog — product analytics (when enabled).
Sentry — error monitoring (when enabled).
HubSpot — CRM / lead management (when enabled).

How long we keep it

Short-lived scan cache: about 30 minutes.
Domain estimate cache: about 30 days.
Lead records (email + domain + scan reference): kept until you ask us to delete them [confirm retention period].
